The project

The project

A durable surface where moisture is an everyday fact

We installed a three-layer, lightly slip-resistant epoxy floor in the processing hall of Bodri Borászat in Szekszárd. In this space must, tartar and cleaning agents place a constant chemical load on the floor, and a wet floor is an occupational safety risk.

The goal was a sealed, seamless surface that is easy to clean and permanently slip-resistant, and that also takes the load of the harvest peak season.

Task and solution

What had to be solved, and how

From preparing the existing substrate to the top coat, every step was sized to the demands of the winery.

Wet production area

A textured, slip-resistant top coat for safe movement.

Chemical load

An acid- and chemical-resistant system that stands up to must.

Hygiene

A sealed, seamless surface that can be cleaned quickly and completely.

Peak load

It takes the increased traffic of the harvest season over the long term.

Case study / The result

The result

A floor that takes the harvest too

The finished surface is uniform, seamless and easy to clean, and it stays safe even when wet. The winery has been using it under everyday production load ever since.

  • Slip-resistant even in wet conditions
  • Resistant to acids and cleaning agents
  • Seamless, hygienic finish
  • Documented handover, on the planned deadline
